I conceived Liquor Hot Sauce somewhere around 2014. Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, I grew up on a steady diet of Tabasco, Louisiana, and Crystal. I enjoyed spicy cuisine from a very young age, but over time became annoyed that hot sauces all had to be sour. I worked as a server in some excellent restaurants (Emeril’s, Arnaud’s and more) while I worked in the music business, and experienced foodie heaven working with excellent chefs and staff in world-class settings as I expanded my culinary horizons. I was always interested in the finer things and excellence in general, and some years ago began questioning hot sauce ingredients. Why must they all have vinegar? After a few years of passive aggressive market research, it became clear that every shelf stable hot sauce contained vinegar. Something had to be done!
